We are the first Massage Business to exhibit at the Big Church Festival! How do I know this? Because 2026 is the first time they created a "Wellness Garden"... (okay and they told me so)!
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
I have always wanted to understand if there would be an opportunity/ space where I could share my faith openly whilst massaging and here it is! This is a pivotal concept as many Christians know that many of the massage practises out there are born out of other religions with other spiritual practises. However, massage is universally important - helping to improve blood circulation, assisted stretches that help remedy stiffness and a moment for the mind to connect with the body through relaxation.
We were still hugely surprised when our stall had non-stop interest and queues forming.
Despite our concerns that people may not be receptive, Christians waited. One had even told me she had waited over an hour! I couldn't believe we had this impact. Confirming God had not lied about His message and visions to me. The sun was out, I could hear the sound of gospel in the atmosphere and most people I massaged seemed to have a scripture somewhere on their clothing! The love was evident and customers were praying for us therapists on the spot, laying hands back on us to bless us! What an incredible move of God...
... then the unimaginable happened.
Pastor Robert Guanco, a visitor at the event, was tragically killed by a signpost that fell, and 6 others were seriously injured (https://www.christianpost.com/news/church-leaders-mourn-pastor-killed-at-big-church-festival.html) in the afternoon of the first day of the three-day event. We were all evacuated and the event was cancelled. The news was shocking and devasting to all but surely not as painful and heart-wrenching as it was to Pastor Guanco's wife and daughter.

We, at One Times You Massage, want to lift up and honour the family and life of Pastor Guanco. Thanking Him for His service to the Kingdom of God on Earth and to bless His service to the Kingdom of God in Heaven. May God favour, protect, bless and love on your family all the days of their lives. We also pray for the full recovery of those injured and of those still traumatised by the experience.
